AND A community mural lead by artist Charly Joaquin Dominguez About Charly: Visual and Performance Artist of Afro-Dominican descent, and born in Harlem, NY in 1981. Raised in New York City, and the Dominican Republic. Best known for documenting issues of Afro-Caribbean/Afro-modernist spirituality, sexuality, gender identity, poverty, and mental health through mixed-media paintings, installations, poetry, and performance art. His images illustrate cross-cultural relationships between the GLBT communities of color and other subcultures. |
