About the event: The Hudson Valley Trans Forum is a two day, annual educational and community-building conference entirely focused on serving & empowering  transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary (TGNCNB) communities.

The Hudson Valley Trans Forum is an educational and empowering event for TGNCNB youth (ages 13-17) & adults and for service providers working with TGNCNB communities.  Due to the subject matter and content, some workshops may be designated for attendees ages 18+.

  1. HVTF will be held VIRTUALLY via Zoom this year, but will still be packed with community connection and valuable workshop content. The LOFT is working with our LGBTQ+ community partners around the Hudson Valley Region to finalize our line-up. Stay tuned for updates in the beginning of November! Advance registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link.

  2. Attend as many workshops as you'd like! Join us all day long for two full days, for just one or two workshops, or anything in-between! After registering, you are welcome to join in the event whenever it fits your schedule and interests.

Friday's conference theme will be enhancing services for TGNCNB community members. All workshops and presentations will focus on education for professionals and community members on the needs and experiences of TGNCNB communities.

Saturday's conference theme will be empowerment for TGNCNB community! All workshops and presentations will focus on the topics of pride, empowerment and advocacy for TGNCNB communities.

Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend one or both days.

  3. We're offering special community events on each conference day
At 1pm on Friday, join us for Transgender Day of Remembrance, where we honor the lives lost due to anti-trans violence this past year

Following Saturday's conference, you're invited to a (free) Gender-Inclusive Makeup Class, presented by MAC Bloomingdales White Plains

Then, show off your pride at our second annual Night of Resilience! (7-8pm) Complete with music, dancing, and special performances

Note: Night of Resilience is free to attend and will function as a fundraiser for The LOFT's TransMission scholarship program.
